Contact your landlord immediately. Landlords are required to have an emergency contact number available 24 hours a day.
You can also contact your local housing code enforcement agency in a housing emergency. A list of agencies is contained at the bottom of this page.
If the emergency involves a utility such as gas, electricity, or water, contact your local utility provider as well.
